Internet and its hazards

Today, internet surfing has become extremely easy and it is available in almost every part of the world. Access to internet has become a job of a few key presses and mouse clicks. With this easy access and growing popularity, internet has almost become a part of everyone's life. But availability of all types of information on the internet is doing more harm than good because this content may not be appropriate for children and studying adolescents.
There may be content which develops unwanted curiosity in children and youngsters which distracts there mind and kills their innocence. This leads to wasting of time as this curiosity makes the children and youngsters to surf the net for hours leading to health concerns. 
The children may not be matured enough to hide their personal information on the web and this harms the safety of the child.
The children may end up sharing a few details of his or her parents which can cause further safety concerns.
Internet has allowed various criminals to make innocent children their target. Access to internet allows cyber bullying. Cyber bullying may include sending of death threats, hateful messages or circulation of inappropriate edited pictures of the children who are targeted. This may be done by random bad guys on internet or even the people we know!
Internet access by children may lead to the leaking of bank details of the parents which may lead to financial problems.
The children may end up making 'Virtual friends' who in turn may be malignant cyber criminals. Children damage their reputation by sharing inappropriate information or photographs on the net.
Due to all these factors they stop paying attention to their academic progress and this leads to tumbling down of grades.
Therefore in order to prevent the loss of innocence and to ensure safety it is always advisable for the children to access the world wide web in the presence of a parent or a guardian.

Let's talk about shopping clothes......

Shopping is something that Mommy loves and Dad hates. Not only because he has to pay the bills, but also because he has to wait while she takes her own sweet time to pick that one thing. Well to be honest I am not the kind of person who jumps with excitement on hearing my Mom say "Ananya, let's go shopping"(If you're wondering, yes I am a girl and I hate shopping. Why the stereotype you little human there?). I do not particularly like leaving my cozy room or my home sweet home and go to a crowded place with women and their bored out husbands, sons and fathers. To the youth of our society.

Dear Readers, The competition in the present generation is making life a struggle. But most of the youth do not seem one bit alarmed or even aware of this serious condition. The position of elders, teachers or even their own parents in their eyes is declining and nowadays it is not surprising if you see a child rebuking his or her parents or teachers. I would like to give an example. The children of my school who travel with me everyday by the school bus often jeer at the pedestrians for no reason and take much joy in throwing paper balls at them and when they are questioned by the bus driver, they throw mocking comments to him with a lot of disrespect. We find no feeling of gratitude in the present generation children at all. They do not realize the efforts  the driver takes to ensure that they reach home safely. We can also find them hurling abusive comments at people who raise a voice against them and children of the present generation do not show even a trace of dignity....
