Should both the parents be working when their children are young and growing?


In the fast moving and swiftly developing society today, culture and morality are losing their values rapidly.
I strongly believe that both the parents should not be working when the child is very young.
As it is always said, the character of a young child is like moist clay. If shaped rightly, it can turn into a beautiful piece of art. For the character of a child to be beautified, it requires time, company, guidance and support from the parents. The parents have to enlighten their children, teach them the value of humanity and make them imbibe moral values in their lives.
When a child is young, he or she requires utmost care, love and affection from his or her parents. The presence of a mother is very important at this age. If the parents fail to give enough time to their children, it leads to the lack of a strong bond between the child and the parents.
The parents who work when their children are very young fail to earn their trust and this in turn may lead to mental and emotional conflicts when the child grows up.
Not all parents are successful in finding a right guardian to look after their child when they are away at work.There is no surety that the guardian will pay complete attention to the child and the guardian may physically or mentally abuse the child.
In the absence of the parents, adolescents may get into bad company and get involved in anti-social activities like theft, consuming alcoholic drinks and so on.
To make a  child successful in life, a parent needs to keep a check of the child's academic progress and overall growth which gets reduced when both the parents are working due the lack of time and attention from the parents.
Therefore to make a child grow up into a good citizen of the society it is necessary for the parents to pay attention towards the child's social and academic development.
It is preferable for both the parents to work after the child reaches a certain age and becomes responsible enough to differentiate between right and wrong, unless there is a dire need for money.

Let's talk about shopping clothes......

Shopping is something that Mommy loves and Dad hates. Not only because he has to pay the bills, but also because he has to wait while she takes her own sweet time to pick that one thing. Well to be honest I am not the kind of person who jumps with excitement on hearing my Mom say "Ananya, let's go shopping"(If you're wondering, yes I am a girl and I hate shopping. Why the stereotype you little human there?). I do not particularly like leaving my cozy room or my home sweet home and go to a crowded place with women and their bored out husbands, sons and fathers. To the youth of our society.

Dear Readers, The competition in the present generation is making life a struggle. But most of the youth do not seem one bit alarmed or even aware of this serious condition. The position of elders, teachers or even their own parents in their eyes is declining and nowadays it is not surprising if you see a child rebuking his or her parents or teachers. I would like to give an example. The children of my school who travel with me everyday by the school bus often jeer at the pedestrians for no reason and take much joy in throwing paper balls at them and when they are questioned by the bus driver, they throw mocking comments to him with a lot of disrespect. We find no feeling of gratitude in the present generation children at all. They do not realize the efforts  the driver takes to ensure that they reach home safely. We can also find them hurling abusive comments at people who raise a voice against them and children of the present generation do not show even a trace of dignity....
